Operations Administrator (Marketing) at Cambridge University Press and Assessment

Are you an aspiring marketing professional? The International Education Marketing team at global academic publisher, Cambridge University Press & Assessment, are searching for an Operations Administrator to join them in Manila. 


In this role, you will work as a key contributor to the team with the aim of attracting top talent and fuelling the expansion of the Philippines Branch. You will provide support to hiring managers both in Manila and the UK.


Responsibilities for the role include supporting projects related to systems, planning and ways of working as well as administering their workflow tool (Monday.com) to implement new processes and systems for both the wider global and central marketing teams. You will help to organise and manage meetings to improve vital communication. The successful candidate will help raise the profile of the marketing team by gathering performance data to highlight their achievements, work to establish processes for ordering marketing stock and collateral and create a SharePoint site for the Global Marketing team.


The ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills with intermediate to advanced Excel and data knowledge and an understanding of SharePoint. They will have workflow management experience and one to two years’ experience in an operations-based role. Prior publishing experience is not essential but any experience working within a Digital Asset Management platform would be advantageous.

Contracts Assistant at Hachette

Do you have an interest in assisting the smooth running of contracts in publishing? Want to work in the environment of one of the largest publishing groups in the UK? Hachette UK has an opportunity for Contracts Assistant in two of their divisions: Orion and Hachette Children’s Group.


Reporting to the Manager, Contract & Business Affairs, you will work between the two divisions and wider publishing teams on pivotal tasks. These include processing and updating contracts into the system, working with editors on reversion requests, updating databases like Biblio, drafting and checking contractual paperwork under direction from the line manager and arranging for signatures – all in which must be executed promptly to schedule.


As an ideal candidate, you will be highly organised and meticulous with admin work, having computer literacy in Microsoft Office. You are a confident communicator and can build relationships within and outside your departments. Knowledge in relevant systems like Biblio would be desirable, but being able to adapt quickly is advantageous.

Amazon Marketing Assistant at Gemini Books Group

As an Amazon Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the company’s books and products have excellent visibility on Amazon. Moreover, you must be prepared to analyse sales trends and use the data to help refine future plans, reduce customer acquisition costs and maximise return on investment. Being organised is key, as the role focuses on administrative tasks such as assisting with mailouts. You must have an eye for design to execute campaigns to drive Amazon sales across social media and email platforms, as well as campaigns to increase title visibility on Amazon. 


The successful applicant will be self-motivated and ambitious, able to work collaboratively across teams and have a creative flair to produce best-in-class marketing materials. High technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office and digital engagement tools such as Adobe and Canva, is crucial. Furthermore, you must be a data enthusiast and have an analytical mind to create and update metadata and analyse sales trends.
