Do you have a passion for travel? Are you interested in working with the world’s leading independent travel publisher? Bradt Guides is currently searching for a part-time Sales Executive to join their team.
This position provides an opportunity to develop a variety of skills within a small, friendly team. The successful candidate will support the team through several administrative tasks, including monitoring book sales, maintaining and updating sales and metadata spreadsheets (Excel skills are essential) and managing online submission forms. A strong communicator will thrive in this role, liaising with internationally based retailers and sales agents, responding to general customer queries and providing support for website sales.
The team is looking for a hard worker who is well-organised, confident and able to prioritise a busy workload. Applicants should demonstrate an ability to multitask effectively, adapt quickly and solve problems. No prior publishing experience is necessary, but any previous experience with an online retail platform such as WooCommerce would be advantageous.
This role is part-time, fifteen hours per week and is expected to require three hours per day. It is based at Bradt’s office in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. Completely remote working will be considered for the right candidate.

The Burlington Magazine – based in London – is searching for a part-time Editorial Assistant, working three days a week. This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to take on a wide range of editorial and administrative responsibilities, including attending editorial meetings, monitoring and acknowledging submissions, handling event invitations, coordinating the peer review process, sourcing images, managing book exhibitions and cataloguing reviews, attending and reporting on exhibitions, proofreading and drafting promotional editorial material.
As Editorial Assistant, you will work closely with the Editor, Deputy Editor and Articles Editor to successfully and effectively carry out tasks on time and to a high standard.
The successful applicant will have a passion and knowledge of art history, alongside strong interpersonal and organisational skills to ensure the smooth running of the editorial department and execution of key responsibilities. Essential requirements include a degree or equivalent and strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Previous experience in publishing is desirable but not essential.
This role is part-time, three days a week, and based at The Burlington Magazine’s office in London.

Travel Media Awards Step Up Internship
