Breakthrough Scholarship for Fantasy Writers with Low Income at Curtis Brown

Closing Date: 22 September 2024

Salary: N/A

Location: Remote

Are you an aspiring fantasy writer but don’t have the financial means to attend a writing course? Well, Curtis Brown Creative is here for you! They are awarding a fully funded scholarship to one lucky speculative fantasy author, who will undergo a nine-week writing course partially taught by the bestselling author Lucy Holland. This high-level course, commencing in October, will teach you how to write an original and engaging narrative and improve your world-building skills. Not only will you work alongside fifteen of your peers as you give and receive feedback on your work, but you will also join author masterclasses and have a workshop centred on your novel.

To apply, you must submit the first 3,000 words of the novel you would like to work on and a synopsis of no more than a page. The writer with the greatest potential and whose writing looks the most promising will be granted a place!

You must be over eighteen and there are certain financial requisites to attend this remote course: if you are unmarried and not cohabiting, you must have an annual income of less than £25,000, with savings of less than £5,000. If you are married or cohabiting, your total household income must be less than £35,000, with savings of less than £5,000. Even if you do not meet these exact criteria, financially challenged writers are still encouraged to apply (however, you must not currently be represented by a literary agent).

I love to find new things on the internet, so one day I stumbled upon dundee slots. It was a random search because I was curious about online games. The website has a straightforward design, which made it easy to explore. I found out they have a lot of promotions and bonuses, especially ones linked to Australia, which caught my attention. What really impressed me was how everything is clearly laid out, and it feels like they genuinely want you to have a good time. This site is now one of my go-to places for online gaming.
