Campaigns Assistant with Quarto Group

Library Assistant at The London Library

Do you dream of working surrounded by books? The London Library is searching for a Library Assistant to join their Member Services Team.
In this position, you will work in one of the UK’s greatest literary institutions. You will be responsible for the front reception desk delivering high-quality service standards. You will assist with membership administration and services, ensuring members, visitors and callers are greeted in a welcome, helpful and professional manner. Responsibilities also include selling merchandise, issuing ID passes, organising tours and carrying out inductions.
The team is looking for an applicant who is pleasant and approachable even under pressure. You will be a team player, always willing to assist and adapt to various tasks. You should demonstrate a high level of numeracy and literacy and have excellent communication skills. You will have a meticulous eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills. Prior experience in general office administration and customer service environments would be highly advantageous.
The role is 35 hours per week and based in London. The successful applicant will be expected to have flexibility in their working hours as they may need to work occasional evenings and weekends on a rota basis.

Rights Assistant at DK International (7 months contract)

Are you inquisitive about rights and French markets? Do you have experience as a sales assistant with customer service skills? Look no further; DK have opened up a role in their International Rights team.
Working in tandem with the Rights Managers, you will be expected to create connections with mainly French-speaking territories and be presented with the opportunity to work with foreign publishers. Alongside this, you will collaborate with other departments in DK such as Editorial, Marketing and Finance, with more overlap into Production when ensuring projects meet deadlines and are to budget.
Your responsibilities include assisting with the sales team on titles with audiences in various territories such as France and Québec by gaining approvals with translation and title updates. Other tasks fall into administrative duties like drafting contracts and invoicing, ensuring information and dates are updated and accurate, and being proactive in your approach to answering queries regarding files, schedules, processes and feedback from editors and translators.
DK are expecting someone with strong communication and organisational skills who can multitask and keep up with tight deadlines. Desirable requirements include someone with experience in customer service and a fluency in French and German, though these are not essential.
